Business Description

We are proud to be a company that promotes the art of crocheting. Crocheting is an art form done with crochet hooks and yarn of various colors and weight. Crochet comes from the French word "crochet" meaning hook, which was used to make French lace. Some researchers believe that crochet may have originated in China, while others claim that it is a product of Arabia or South America. Regardless of its true origins, crocheting is a trend that has been around since the Victorian era. We saw it really boom during the '60s and '70s with the bright colored floral dresses, the chunky granny square tops with flowing fringes and the crochet bikinis that are still trendy today. It is making a comeback, especially in 2022. We are seeing the revivals of classic favorites such as the crochet halter as well as tops and cover-ups for the beach. The granny square cardigans and knits are perfect for layering, and will look great in our autumn/winter wardrobes.
